We recruit and train volunteers to support families with young children. Our volunteers support families by visiting them in their homes for 2 hours per week. We also run family groups and social events for families.
Volunteer Training Course
All volunteers are required to attend our training course; our next course will begin Thursday 26th January 2023 at High Heath Hub, Spring Lane, Shelfield. WS4 1AT and will run every Thursday from 09.30 am to 2.30 pm for 6 weeks (excluding school half term 23rd February), finishing Thursday 9th March.
On successful completion of our course and subject to satisfactory DBS and reference checks, you will be matched with a family in Walsall to provide practical and/or emotional support.
Refreshments and resources are provided and volunteer travel expenses are reimbursed.
